Mulnayak: Bhagawan Chintamani Parshvanath in the Padmasana
posture.
Tirth: It is in the Bhujpur village.
Historicity: At the entrance of the village, on the wall of the
temple, there is a painting of Vastupal Tejpal. it gives an idea of the antiquity and
splendor of the temple. The temple is beautifully constructed. According to historical
records, when the parents of Vastupals died, he decided to go on a pilgrimage to
Siddhachalji to soothe his grief. before going, he thought of burying his wealth under the
ground. As he went to bury his wealth under a tree, he saw there a large copper vessel,
full of wealth. Anupamadevi said to Vastupal "If you want to go to a low state of
life, bury the wealth under the ground and if you want to go to a high state of life,
beautify the hills with summits" As a result, the temples of Girnar and Delwada and
the tirth of Bhujpur came into existence.
Other Temples: Besides, there is a modern two-storeyed temple. Bhagawan Mahavir Swami is
the Mulnayak there. In the cellar, there is an idol of Bhagawan Kesariyaji. There is a
great library, too.
Works of art and Sculpture: This temple of the Vikram era 1897, is very vast
and splendid. It is very well structured and artistic. This temple of the small group of
the five temples of Kutch-Bhuj is specially attractive. The semi-century festival of this
temple was very propously celebrated recently. The highly architectural construction of
this temple is the chief attraction of this Taluka.
Guidelines: This tirth is at a distance of 16 kilometers from
the Mundra tirth and 42 kilometers from the Bhadreshvar tirth. Bus service and private
vehicles are available. The pilgrimage is comfortable. There is an uparshraya in front of
the temple. There are good boarding and lodging provisions.
