Historicity
This sacred place is very ancient. It seems to have been renovated many times, The beautiful chief idol of Bhagawan Shantinath was formally installed by King Samrpati. This is why it is specially significant. The oldest temple of the Surendranagar district, Shiyani attracts Jain and non - Jain devotees. A fair is held here every year on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Magsar.
