Historicity
The Mundava village near the city of Sojat is an ancient tirth of Bhagawan Parshvanath. There is a popular talk about the origin of this tirth. A Shravaka observed a vow not to take meals before respectfully bowing his head to God. He went to a God’s temple in a village at a distance of five miles. Influenced by his vow and fidelity, the presiding deity gave him an indication in dream and ordered him to find this idol under a particular tree outside the villages. The presiding deity also instructed him to go to the said place with a basket full of barley grains and leave it there at night. All the barley grains turned into gold. With the gold he built this splendid temple.

Guidelines
This tirth is at a distance of 4 kilometers from Chandraval, the nearest railway station and at a distance of 15 kilometers from the Sojat city. Bus service and private vehicles available. boarding and lodging provisions are there. There is also an upashraya. This tirth is managed by the Chandal Jain Sangha.
