Nearly 72 cm, high white-coloured idol of Bhagawan Vighnapahar Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth

It is in the village Mota Posina of the Khedbrahma Taluka.

Historicity

This idol appeared from the hollow of the ground under a big tree in the thirteenth century. At an auspicious hour the installation ceremony was performed but a calamity happened. Suddenly, the place took fire. Instead of destruction of the splendid new temple, a miracle happened. The fire that had suddenly flamed, got extinguished without doing any harm. The name ‘Vighnapahar Parshvanath’ came out from the mouths of people who were astonished to see this. Another name for Vighnapahar Parshvanath is Vighnahara Parshvanath. This beautiful temple was installed by His Holiness. Acharyadev Somasundarsurishvarji.

In this sacred place, there are three other temples. Kshetrapalji in the temple of Mahavir Swami is very miraculous.

This is a very ancient and sacred place. The idol is very miraculous and awe-inspiring. There are many trees and hills around. The temple, therefore, looks very splendid and beautiful.

Guidelines

This sacred place is at an interior distance of 12 kilometers from the temple on this side of the temple of Kumbhariya on the chief road in Khedbrahma Taluka. Bus service and private vehicles are available. At a distance of 8 kilometers from this place there is a beautiful hill. By crossing it, one can go to Rajasthan. There are an Upashraya and boarding and lodging provisions.
