The temple is in the center of the Kamboi village.
Historicity
The Kamboi village belongs to the times earlier than nearly the eleventh century. This sacred place is regarded to be very ancient. The shape and the art of the idol seems to belong to the times of King Samprati. In the seventeenth century list of sacred places, preserved in Patan, There is a mention of the sacred place of Kamboi. Its last renovation was accomplished in the year 2003 of the Vikram era. On the second day of the bright half of the month of Fagan, a fair is held here every year. Thousands of pilgrims meet together.

Kamboi is the railway station nearby. This place is at a distance of 16 kilometer from Chanasma. Buses and taxis are available means of conveyance. There are dharmashalas and bhojanashalas. For use on Journey, food is given here to the pilgrims.
