Historicity
Vastupal’s secretary, Jaitrasinh settled this city in the name of his wife, Jamandevi, This sacred place belongs to a time earlier than the thirteenth century. The final renovation and formal reinstallation of the idol were accomplished the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakh in the year 1964 of the Vikram era.
