Nearly 120 cm. high, black-colored idol of Bhagawan Shyamala Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

It is in the centre of the Charup village.
Historicity
This idol has a very ancient history. This is one of the three idols which were got formally installed by Ashadhi Shravaka. There is a reference that the girdle of the idol of Bhagawan Parshvanath was set in this temple under the auspicious of Shri Devendrasurisvarji of the Nagendra Gachchha in the ninth century. There are also references to tirthakalpas (similar temples) built in the year 1389 of the Vikram era. This temple fell into disorder after the 18th century, It was renovated again in the year 1938 and on the auspicious fifth day of the bright half of the month of Jeth in the Vikram era the vast temple was reinstalled.

Works of art and Sculpture
This temple which is beautified with printings of elephants is sighty. The idol in it is a matchless model of ancient art. The idol clearly reveals the symptoms of slenderness uneasiness, serenity, peace and good health of the ascetic. Such an idol is rare to find elsewhere.

The Charup railway station is at a distance of one kilometer from here. The nearest railway station of Patan is at a distance of ten kilometers. Bus service and service of private vehicles are available. There are boarding and lodging facilities here. There is a good upashraya.
