Shri Kachholi Tirth

Mulnayak: Nearly 90 cms high,white-colored idol of Bhagawan Kachhulika Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture.

Tirth: It is in the center of the Kachhoti village.

Historicity: The ancient name of this tirth is kachhulika. On the seat of the parikar of Bhagawan Mulnayak, there is an inscription of the year 1343 of the Vikram era. This tirth is, therefore, believed to be still more ancient. This place is the origin of the Kachholival gachchha. In ancient times, this was a rich and prosperous city. Thousands of Shravakas lived here. A flag is hoisted on the temple on the tenth day of the bright half of the month of Magasar every year.

Other Temples: There is no other temple.

Works of art and Sculpture: God’s idol is very splendid. Seeing the serene, peaceful idol the worshippers feel joy of devotion.

Guidelines: Sarupaganj, the nearest railway station is at a distance of 5 kilometers. Bus service and private vehicles are available. There are provisions for boarding and lodging.
