Tirth: It is on a hill in the Pabhosa Village on the bank of the Yamuna river.

Historicity: This idol is believed to belong to the times preceding a hundred years of A.D., According to the Digambar belief, this is the holy land of diksa and attainment of omniscience of Padmaprbh Swami, the Sixth Tirthankara. This firth was a garden of the Kaushambi City. According to the indication in a dream of the pujari, this idol was installed as Mulnayak in the temple. This Pabhosa tirth is regarded to be extremely holy. This is also regarded as an ‘Atishay Kshetra’. The color of the idol goes on changing from morning to evening. Sometimes at night, saffron drops come showering. A fair is held here on the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month of Chaitra every year.

Other Temples: Recently, a new temple with three pinnacles is set up.

Works of art and Sculpture: The idols of Bhagawan Padmaprabha is believed to belong to the times of the Kings of the Mit dynasty, more than a hundred years older than the Christian era. Words fail to describe the artistic beauty of the idol. Since part of the hill has fallen down, the temple is damaged but the idol is unbroken. While digging around here, ancient idols etc. are found and they prove the antiquity of the place.
